Another growing season is behind us at Valley View Gardens and what a challenge it has been! Seemingly beneficial, the heavy rains this spring and summer were a deterrent to gardening and landscaping. Eventually, the rains subsided, thank goodness, and then the fun began as gardeners emerged from their houses to play in the garden! It was a challenging growing season, but it also provided opportunities for us to learn how to care for landscapes overwhelmed by too much water and to observe how they recovered with a little ‘tender loving care’!
At this time, we commence another lovely phase at Valley View Gardens and The Cinnamon Apple Cottage! Autumn provides an opportunity for reflection, as we observe the beauty of nature displayed on hills and gardens glowing with color and texture. Equally significant, autumn is an opportunity for practicing inner beauty, as we look inside ourselves, evaluating our year and how we’ve changed and grown or need to grow in the future.

Each Saturday, beginning November 11 through December 23, you will enter an enchanting world at The Cinnamon Apple Cottage’s ‘Open House Saturday’, during which we offer mulled cider and baked goods to nourish you as you shop our ten charming showrooms! Come one, come all! Experience The Cinnamon Apple Cottage phenomena!
Our hours before Thanksgiving will be: Monday through Thursday, 10 o’clock to 5:30; Friday, 10 o’clock to 6; and Saturday, 10 o’clock to 4. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and will open early on Black Friday at 8 o’clock to 6. After Thanksgiving, The Cinnamon Apple Cottage will also be open on Saturdays, 10 o’clock to 5 and Sundays, November 26 through Christmas Eve, December 24, from 11 o’clock to 4 for your shopping convenience! We will be closed December 25 & 26 and will re-open Wednesday, December 27 through Saturday, December 30 from 10 o’clock to 4, our last day of the 2017 season. We close January and February and re-open mid-March.
