A Kaleidoscope of Quilts is celebrating it’s 4th Anniversary at its Little York location (adjacent to Dwyer Memorial Park). With over 5,000 bolts of top quality, 100% cotton fabric and a self-serve tea room A Kaleidoscope of Quilts is a destination for all quilters (and non-quilters alike). There are classes for all skill levels and long-arm service is available.  Come in and sign-up to be on the e-mailing list.  You’ll want to know about all the events that are happening.

On May 2nd, A Kaleidoscope of Quilts will be holding its Annual Bolt Buster Sale—in the tents!  Over 600 bolts are priced at an amazing $4.00/yard.  All pre-measured and priced, ready to be cashed out and join your own stash.  The Bolt Buster is scheduled to begin at 8 AM (plenty of parking in the county park lot, next door).  Only ten customers will be allowed in the tented area at one time (numbers will be issued).  (It has to do with safety codes)  This is a great opportunity to purchase backing fabrics (not extra wide) and at this price—-wonderful time to collect fabrics for those beautiful charity quilts that Quiltin’ Sistas are known for making. To help move everyone along, there will be two checkout lines.  One for Credit Cards only and the other will be for those paying with cash or checks.

A Kaleidoscope of Quilts is teaming up with Sew Beautiful Creative of Groton., and The Fabric Patch in Marathon for their Bi-Annual Shop Hop.  Nicknamed the Rising Stars, Linda, Debi and Karen will be running this popular event May 8th-9th from 9 AM to 5 PM both days.  To participate, you need to purchase a passport ($1.00) at any of the three shops, available now or at your 1st stop as you begin “hopping”. Be sure to get your passport stamped at each shop in order to receive a free piece of fabric to complete a mystery project designed especially for this year’s Spring Fling Shop Hop.  At your last stop, turn in your passport to be eligible for two things.  One— exchange it for the instructions to the mystery project. Two- the completed passport is the ticket for the Grand Prize.  Each shop will have individual door prizes as well.  So gather up your Quiltin’ Sistas and join the fun for the 4th Bi-Annual Shop Hop!
