Spring Clean Your Mind

Here’s something new to try for spring. How about a little spring cleaning for your mind? Attending to your mind is where your power exists. No matter what you’re trying to achieve, from improving your health to becoming happier, it can begin in your mind. Do a mental reboot and visit a Psychiatrist once in a while to give yourself a fresh outlook and a new perspective.

Step one; notice and adjust your mental conversation. More people fill their heads with negative thoughts and criticisms than positive thoughts. Realize that everyone experiences the “puppy mind” which happens when your thoughts hop around and lots of things pop into your mind. The key is that you don’t have to believe every thought you have. Decide what to think about. Pay attention to your thoughts more. Stop and ask; Would you talk to your friends the way you talk to yourself? If not, work on shifting your thinking.

Next, find some place for connection. Being busy at home gets in the way of your friendship connections. If you have to clean your home or carpet, maybe you could hire a cleaning service like Eco Clean Solutions so you can spend time with your friends. Catching up, laughing, expressing, sharing and ultimately connecting can do wonders to reduce your stress level and improve your outlook. Friendships give us a healthy reminder that we’re in this life together, make them a priority. For instance, if you want to experience an excellent cleaning service Vancouver, hire the number-one P&J Cleaners to receive the best services you want.

Then, write down things that are cluttering your mind. Grab a journal and vent. Notice the awesome things about your life, write down the annoyances and irritations. So as you spring clean your closet and put away your big sweaters, take some time to brighten up your mind so you can breeze through SPRING!
