Ithaca Area United Jewish Community hosts an informational presentation by Cornell Students who traveled to the Former Soviet Union. The alternative service summer break trip provided students with the opportunity to interact face-to-face with underserved Jewish populations. By working with the Joint Distribution Committee on the ground, students were able to provide aide to the elderly, learn about the history of Georgian Jewry, and discover different ways to support the community.
