Visit about a dozen homes all over the county that use renewable energy and/or eco-friendly building practices. Homeowners will be on-site to answer your questions and describe their building’s green features — such as energy-efficient appliances, geothermal and air source heat pumps, passive solar design, photovoltaics solar hot water, wind-power, salvaged and non-toxic building materials, local lumber, straw bale construction and much more! Visitors may view participating sites between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Saturday, September 30th.
