September 14 – Advanced Compost Series

Fall is an excellent time to start or improve your home composting; fall leaves are coming! Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Advanced Compost series will help you to efficiently make and use “black gold” for your home garden and houseplants. Master Composters teach about the science, and offer hands-on demonstrations in our outdoor compost area. Classes are held from 6 to 7:30pm on three Thursday evenings in September and early October:
- September 14 (class 1) – how it works / the composting process
- September 21 (class 2) – testing and use
- October 5 (class 3) – troubleshooting and advanced techniques
