6:30-8:30 pm

Choosing the right flowering plants can turn your yard into an oasis for butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.  Whether you have sun or shade, clay or sand, dry or wet, there are pollinator-friendly plants that can thrive in your environment.  Learn how to provide shelter and food for these keystone species.  Help reverse habitat loss by creating your own pollinator-friendly garden.  Gardening for Native Bees & Butterflies will be offered Thurs. March 16, 6:30-8:30 pm at the Tompkins County Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca.  $5-$10 self-selected sliding scale fee.  Pre-registration recommended to ensure enough handouts.  Please call 272-2292 for more information or registration.
