South Lansing location, 15 min. drive from downtown Ithaca
Tour a ‘high tunnel’ (and a low tunnel) which supply much of the household’s winter produce! A high tunnel is a tall plastic-enclosed growing area that relies on sunlight and captured heat to grow hardy greens. This early January tour will showcase the veggies at their most abundant. Sunday Jan. 8: please arrive for start of the tour at 1:00 pm. South Lansing location. Address and directions available upon sign-up. Limited parking. Limit of 15 participants.
