April 26 – Cemetery Sweep-out Day

8am to 12noon, Cortland Rural Cemetery, 110 Tompkins Street in Cortland. Readying the Cortland Rural Cemetery for Memorial Day (May 26) and the 2014 growing season is a monumental task! All able-bodied volunteers and organizations are needed to help remove branches and other debris from the cemetery. No heavy lifting or contact with headstones allowed! Other outdoor and indoor tasks may be assigned. Refreshments will be on hand. Groups welcome: Just reach out by phone, FB messaging, or email to let us know your group plans to attend!
