Posted by  //  March 3, 2014  //  Arts & Live Music, Calendar of Events

6:30pm reception, 7pm dinner and show, Cortland Ramada Inn Ballroom, 2 River Street in Cortland, near exit 11 off Route 81. Need a few good laughs to shake off the winter doldrums? This annual fundraiser promises big laughs, great food and a touch of murder. This hilarious show welcomes the audience to Hadleyville, the most lawless place in the whole Territory of New Mexico. What makes this place so bad? Why, that would be you, pardner, and all the other low-down snakes that live here. Problem is that Statehood is coming and the Federales are looking to pull this place right out from under you. The undertaker, Ewell Dye, has called a town meeting at the Ramirez Saloon to figure out what to do. Watch your back, buckaroo! Folks are about to get even nastier! This entertaining, interactive show of suspense and laughter will be accompanied by a delicious buffet meal provided by the Ramada. The show is suitable for ages 12 and up and prizes are given to the top detectives who solved the mystery and also to the worst crime-solvers who completely miss the point. Early Bird Tickets are $50.00 each, available until Friday, February 7 after which they are raised to $55.00. Ticket price includes a welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and full-course dinner with desert. Tickets can be purchased at the CRT Box Office, 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland, or at the Bling Store on at 101 Main Street in Cortland, or by phone by calling 800-427-6160. All proceeds benefit the CRT Guild’s support of the theatre.
