Title/Author: “Puffling” by Margaret Wild, illustrated by Julie Vivas.
Description: This lovely story about the early weeks in the life of a “puffling” (a young Atlantic Puffin chick) offers children a glimpse at the bird’s life cycle through the story of one engaging puffin family. Then we will learn more about real puffins and the research that has led to their amazing comeback off the coast of Maine.
