3:00-6:00pm
Ithaca Children’s Garden, Route 89 at Cass Park, Ithaca

The Fire and Ice Festival will bring fun, art, and creativity to the coldest and snowiest time of the year with an outdoor extravaganza for all ages to enjoy. Hands-on activities include igloo building, snowfort and quinsy- making, kid-ice sculpture, and Andy Goldsworthy-inspired environmental snow/ice art, all with bonfires, fire juggling, fire hoola-hooping, and fire sculpture happening simultaneously on site.  Dress for the weather!  Free and open to all ages, donations are welcomed.    Bring some pocket change for BBQ, hot chocolate, cider, and s’mores fixin’s.

An Ithaca Children’s Garden event offered in partnership with US Fish & Wildlife Service, Cornell University, and EarthPlay.  With funding from the Tompkins County Tourism Program.
