August 20-24 – Environmental Exploration Days

This 5-day program is designed to open up new opportunities to enjoy the area’s unique natural beauty for youth aged 11-13 who are entering 6th, 7th or 8th grades.  Participants visit different nature sites and organizations each day, taking part in a wide range of activities and discovering environmental opportunities where they can become involved. Sites this year will include Robert H. Treman State Park, The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, The Floating Classroom, Six Mile Creek and the Cornell Plantations.  Snacks and water are provided. Youth should bring a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated. Cost is $225 and scholarships may be available upon request.
