The Dryden Senior Citizens meet on the second and fourth Mondays of the month except for the summer months. We meet on Monday at the Dryden Fire Hall on Route 13 in the center of town near Clark’s Food Mart.

Lunch is served at 12:15 p.m. with announcements starting at 11:45 a.m. Please bring your own table service. The meal cost for members is $6.00 and $8.00 for non-members.
We have a good caterer so our lunches are tasty.

We have either a speaker or entertainment after the lunches. We have two drawings for a free corsage and free meal provided by the First National Bank of Dryden. We also have a 50/50 drawing for two people, and the amount is usually about $15 each.

If you want to join you only need to show up for a lunch and pay the $5.00 a year membership.

Are you new to the area? Want to join a great group? Then consider joining the Dryden Senior Citizens. Anyone in the area over 55 can join our group. We have great programs, wonderful fellowship, and bus trips. Bring a friend to our next meeting.

I am the stroke educator for Cayuga Medical Center, and about a year ago, after a stroke education presentation that I gave in your area, one of the attendees suggested that your group might be interested in having me come to give a stroke presentation at one of your lunch meetings. I do these community outreach presentations throughout the county, usually about a 1/2 hour talk followed by questions and answers. I talk about the different kinds of stroke, what to do if you think you or someone you are with is having a stroke, risk factors for stroke and how you can minimize your own risk, and neurological rehab possibilities after stroke. Please let me know if you would have any interest in this kind of a presentation and, if so, some potential dates that might work for your group. Thanks!
