October 16 – The Journey to Equality

There is a great event happening at SUNY Cortland that The Center is helping put together. It is called “The Journey to Equality”. There will be a panel of folks, including a lawyer, and one of the first gay couples to file suit against New York State, as well as Barrie Gewanter from the NYCLU (you met her at our post-DOMA event). The event is from 7-8 with a reception to follow and will be taking place in the Exhibition Lounge of Corey Union on SUNY campus.
We will meet as usual at the Center and eat at 6PM and then proceed to the SUNY campus shortly after 6:30PM.
The next monthly meeting of the Cortland Men’s LGBT Group will be Wednesday October 16 , 2013 at 6 PM.
The meeting will take place at The LGBT Resource Center , 73 Main St, Cortland, NY 13045. Bring a dish-to-pass for a pot-luck supper. ( If you are unable to bring anything, just bring yourself ) . The meeting is open to all members and allies of the LGBTQA++ community. 🙂
