Dryden Grange Community Service Awards night to be held Thurs 4/28 @ 7 pm at the Dryden Neptune Fire Hall. The issue closest to that date would be appreciated.
The 2011 recipients will be Marg Alpern from McClean for her work with Calling all Teens, a program she puts on for McClean teens to gather in the evenings at McClean school to have games, supervised homework sessions, refreshments and trips to various sporting events in area.( this is only one of many “projects” Marge is involved in) We will also be honoring Diane Miller Yacavone for her devotion to making dreams come true thru the DREAMWORKS program. She, along with the entire Miller families collect bottles and cans and use the refund monies to provide a dream come true for children who are ill or in need.
