3 pm, St. Anthony’s Church, 50 Pomeroy Street inCortland. Saxophonist and Homer native Gabriel Fadale will perform a free saxophone recital. The program, The Italian Saxophone, will feature music written by Italian composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Giacomo Puccini, Antonio Bazzini, and Giacinto Scelsi. Collaborating with Ithaca-based pianist Kathy Hansen, he looks forward to presenting an exciting and eclectic mix of music by Italian composers at St. Anthony’s Church – the church founded by Cortland’s Italian immigrants.
