February 12 & 27 – Historic House Tour

Pamela Poulin will conduct tours in costume as suffragist, abolitionist, and Native American Treaty Rights advocate Matilda Joslyn Gage (1826-1898) at the recently restored Gage Historic House Museum in Fayetteville, NY on Sunday, February 12thand Monday, February 27th, both days at 2:00 PM. Following the Tour at 3:00PM, there will be a Tea with homemade tea cake, chocolates and organic nuts. During the Tea and during the Tour, those attending will have the opportunity of asking “Matilda” any questions they wish. If requested, “Matilda” may even sing and play the Gage House’s 1845 piano!
Address: 210 E. Genesee Street at Walnut Street, near the Fayetteville ‘Towne Center’ Mall. Ample parking in the United Church Parking, 1/2 block down Walnut on the left. Disabled parking near the House on Walnut Street. Enter through the Ruth Putter Welcome Center doorway (the door on the left side of the House) where there is also an elevator for those with disabilities.
