African violets are one of the few houseplants that flower well at home and are easy to grow. Tom Weiler of Cornell’s Horticulture Department will cover the range of varieties available, culture, propagation, grooming, repotting, insects/diseases, and sources of plants. African Violets for Everyone will be presented Wed. Oct. 26, 6:30-8:30 pm at the Tompkins County Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca. Fee: $5.
