United Presbyterian Church of Cortland
Dr. Ralph Dudgeon, retired SUNY Cortland professor and international expert on trumpet history and performance joins Paulette Fry, organist, in a concert of music for the “Instrument of Kings” with the “King of Instruments.” The Church Street Brass joins the duo for a brassy tribute to African-American spirituals, arranged by the organist. Among the period instruments in his repertoire, Dr Dudgeon will play corno da caccia, as well as piccolo trumpet on this concert.
