Youth aged 9-to-13 will learn about animal behavior, grooming, anatomy, health, nutrition, and how to handle and present an animal for show. Each will partner with an experienced 4-H member to learn these new skills, and practice with their choice of sheep, dairy cow, goat, or rabbit provided by 4-H. Indoor camping on Friday night. Event concludes with an animal show and pizza party on Saturday evening. Fee: $60 includes meals and snacks, “Kritter Kamp” t-shirt & water bottle, handouts, resource binder, and use of all tools needed for the program. Partial scholarships are available.
