August 20 – Groton Public Library Book Sale

Posted by  //  July 23, 2011  //  Calendar of Events

On Saturday, August 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Groton Public Library will hold its Annual Book Sale.

There will be a good selection of adult general fiction, mysteries, science fiction, and romance, as well as history, biographies, cookbooks and crafts and other popular topics. Quality children’s books, especially for elementary school and middle school aged children, will also be featured. We also have a small selection of DVDs, Books on Tape, and VHS tapes. Everything is well sorted by category to make it easy to locate authors or subjects of interest. Buyers will find super low prices on all books, as well as other items. Proceeds benefit the work of the Library.

The Groton Public Library thanks all the generous readers who have donated books for this sale. Potential donors are regretfully requested to hold their books until September to allow us time to tidy up.

The sale will be held at the fire station next door to the Library. The location is East Cortland St. (Rte 222) just before it ends at Main St. (Rte 38) in Groton.

Any questions call the Library at (607) 898-5055 or email to director@grotonpubliclibrary.org
