January 15 – Substitute Teacher Workshop

The Cortland County Teacher Center is offering a workshop for anyone who is interested in becoming a substitute teacher for area school districts. The workshop will be held on Thursday, January 15 from 9 am until 2:30pm at the CNY Living History Center, 4386 Homer Avenue, Cortland.

Substitute Teaching with Excellence will provide participants with useful information, strategies and valuable resources needed for effective teaching in the classroom.

Those interested in exploring the possibility of substitute teaching, as well as those who are already employed as substitute teachers, are invited to attend.

There is no fee for the workshop; however, registration is required. Lunch will be on your own.
