Solid Ground Coffeehouse, located in the high and hilly farmland of Nanticoke, NY, is not a coffee shop – it’s a destination! A coffee shop says, “Grab and go,”; a coffee house says, “Come and stay a while!” The facility is a Christian coffee house at the top of one of those hills with panoramic views and sunsets. Nestled on the Swansey family’s organic homestead in their former hay barn, it is a cozy, welcoming space that accommodates 75 people. It is open for Special Events (featuring Christian musicians, artists, and speakers), Open House nights (with light entertainment, and fellowship), Homesteading Classes (teaching people to raise, process & store their own food, and Farm Tours. And of course – roasted fresh on the premises – Solid Ground, Coffee Roasters coffees! There are also teas, refrigerated beverages, and an assortment of desserts. These include a huge selection of gluten-free items! Many homemade and specialty gifts, bagged coffees and chocolate, mugs, coasters, and more are for sale.
