Lenore LeFevre, Cortlandville Town Justice – The Only Local Candidate with Judicial Experience

Posted by  //  October 25, 2021  //  News

Judge Lenore LeFevre, a Cornell Law School graduate, has served our community as a highly respected attorney for the past 27 years. Getting her start in the legal profession as an airplane repo attorney and together with her diverse life experiences as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserves, Judge LeFevre has earned the reputation as an objective, fair and compassionate judge. From her early days as an attorney she quickly became known as a hard worker. Now as a judge, even while being one of the busiest town courts in the state, Cortlandville Town Court is still one of the most efficient, handling thousands of cases annually.

In 2017, Judge LeFevre was recognized as the most qualified candidate when Cortlandville’s voters elected her by a wide margin. Now four years later, she faces the same opponent again; still, she has not taken the challenge lightly.

“I believe the position of Cortlandville’s Town Justice must be worked for with diligence and integrity; not simply adding one’s name to the ballot and putting up lawn signs. As your Town Justice, I have worked day and night (sometimes very late nights) upholding this esteemed position. I have always delivered fair and just decisions on all matters before me and will continue to do so when re-elected.”

Judge LeFevre also serves our community through volunteer commitments. She is a Board Member of the JM Murray Center, a not-for-profit committed to providing services for people with disabilities and their families that enhance the quality of their lives. If you are a PWD, it is essential to have a professional social security disability lawyer help you get the benefits you deserve.
