To protect the health and safety of its staff, members, and the community, CFCU is closing access to its branch lobbies effective immediately. All branches with drive-thru capabilities will serve members primarily through drive-thru lanes.  Both drive-thru and Call Center hours will be extended to 7am – 6pm weekdays, and 8:30am – 1:30pm Saturdays. Services offered via drive-thrus will also be extended to include: Loan and credit card payments, official checks, and instant issues of lost, stolen or new credit and debit cards.

All ATMs and Virtual Teller Machines will remain available at all CFCU locations as well as the Allpoint network with 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs worldwide.

Additional banking needs that cannot be completed through CFCU’s drive-thrus can be accommodated by appointment. This includes accessing safe deposit boxes at the Port Watson branch and the Administrative Offices at 1030 Craft Rd. Members can call CFCU’s Call Center at 607-257-8500 or 800-428-8340 for assistance or to set up an appointment. For Wealth Management services, members can call either of the phone numbers above and enter extension 3299.

To support social distancing, CFCU encourages the use of its digital services to make deposits, manage accounts, transfer money, and pay bills. Members and non-members can also apply for loans and open accounts on CFCU’s website.

To help members through the COVID-19 pandemic, CFCU has also made the following fee and product changes effective immediately:

  • Waiving the Skip-a-Pay Program fee for members who meet eligibility and would like to defer a CFCU loan payment.
  • Waiving fees for phone transfers, loan payments by card or ACH, and cash advances online or over the phone.
  • Offering personal loans as low as 2.90% APR with 12-36 month terms and up to 90 days for the first payment.

CFCU continues to look for and implement more ways to help its members and the community through this pandemic.

“The physical and financial health of our members, staff, and community is our top priority. We have been communicating daily to discuss and implement the best ways we can protect our members, staff, and community while still serving all financial needs through this unprecedented situation. We will continue to communicate regularly with staff and board members throughout this crisis to make updates as needed. We are truly thankful for such wonderful staff who are very dedicated to our members and communities,” Lisa Whitaker, CFCU President & CEO.
