Animal Adventure Park is one of New York State’s most beloved and valued tourist destinations. The interactive, educational animal park is located in the hills of Harpursville (just minutes outside of Binghamton, New York) and is home to world famous giraffes April, Oliver and Tajiri. The park’s mission is to communicate an appreciation for living things through the use of the human senses and to educate guests about the natural lives of its animal ambassadors. Animal Adventure is federally licensed by the USDA, ensuring the park maintains the same standards of care that are met by zoos and aquariums in the United States. The park staff includes zoologists, animal behaviorists, biologists, educators and general caretakers and is open seasonally from May through October.
