Deer Run Farms Apple Orchard & Retail Store is located at 2695 Route 11A, LaFayette, NY, one block north of the popular LaFayette Apple Festival location held on Columbus Day weekend. We are open seasonally from mid- August to mid- December. This year we will officially open on Saturday Aug. 18th. We are open 7 days a week from 10am-7pm and are handicap accessible.
At Deer Run Farms you will find 11 apple tree varieties that grow tall and wide, giving you the experience of being out in nature surrounded by a beautiful scenic valley view and not standing in rows of commercially planted dwarf trees. Our orchard offers over 20 scenic acres of U-Pick Apples. We added an additional 500 trees to our U-PICK Orchard this year including Fuji, JonaMac, JonaGold, and Gala.
Deer Run Farms also offers in season bagged apples in our retail farm market store along with homemade pies, desserts, local honey and syrup, homemade jams and jellies, local NY cheeses, homemade candles, lotions and soaps, country antiques and gifts, and saving the best for last…the ORIGINAL Apple Fritter!!!!
Our Apple Fritter recipe dates back to the 1970’s and our customers say it’s the BEST! Our fritters are made to order and served EVERYDAY.
