April 29 – 4-H Rubber Duck Race

Watch 3200 bright yellow rubber ducks tumble over Cascadilla Falls then race down the creek to the CCE-Tompkins Education Center on Willow Avenue, where there will be live music, food, displays, activities for kids, and a COMPOST FAIR from 12-4PM! Ducks drop at 2 PM into Cascadilla Falls at Cascadilla Gorge Park, University Ave & Linn Street. Follow the ducks down Cascadilla Creek to the finish line at Cooperative Extension to see if your duck comes in first and wins the $750 cash “nest egg” or other great prizes donated by local businesses. Duck chances are $5/duck or a “flock” of 5/$20, and may be purchased online at http://duckrace.peaksmaker.
