July 6-9 2017 marks the 14th year of the busy bird Bluegrass Festival Featuring multi-award winning Flatt lonesome, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice, Sweetwater Stringband and 21 of the most talented regional and local acts performing Traditional and Progressive Bluegrass as well as other Americana and acoustic music. Music workshops provided by experts in their field to help you learn a new lick or just to swap some stories. The Busy Bird is a family oriented event with children activities throughout the weekend. You will find no better campfire picking anywhere. Food concessions available all weekend, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving up fresh made favorites. Shade tents are provided but bring your own chair. Rain or shine, the show will go. Be sure to catch the busy Bird Kickoff party July 6 featuring the areas best acoustic (some non-bluegrass) talent along with festival Host Band Bugtussle with a twist.
