Dr. Pamela L Poulin, Professor Emerita, Johns HopkinsUniversity will portray Amelia Jenks Bloomer who was the first woman to own, publish and edit her own newspaper. Bloomer was born in Homer, and she and her family moved from Homer toSeneca Falls in 1824 when she was 6 years old.
