July 23-24 – National Cowboy Day Celebration

Saturday 9am to 7pm, Sunday 10am to 3pm, CNY Living History Center, 4386 US Rte 11 in Homer. Shadows of the Old West and Ghost Ryders, with horses, Big Red & Rebel Yell, will provide an educational glimpse of life in the Old West through skits and demonstrations. Doug Corey & his Circle C Chuck Wagon and Cowboy singer Robert Brown will also participate. We’ll have a Chili Cook-off on Saturday with judging at 12:30 pm. Events are fun for all ages and accompanied by Cowboy historians to answer questions about life in the Old West. Food, drink & vendors on site; museum will be open. Admission is: $10 for adults; $9 for Senior Citizens and AAA members; $5 for students 6-18; and free for children 5 & under, active duty military and CNY LivingHistory Center members.
