April 19 & 20 – A.A.R.P. “Smart Driver” 6-Hour Class

A six-hour driver refresher course geared for drivers aged 50 and older, but open to drivers of any age, is being offered on Tuesday, April 19 from 1:00-4:00 PM and Wednesday, April 20 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Regional Training Center behind the Cortlandville Fire Station on Tompkins Street Extension in Cortland. This course is approved by the N.Y.S. Department of Motor Vehicles for points & insurance reduction.
Preregistration is required by calling the Cortland County Health Department at 758-5509. Classes may be rescheduled due to lack of registration, and walk-ins might be turned away.
This class is sponsored by AARP, the Cortland County Health Department, the Cortland County Area Agency on Aging, and the Cortland County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
