Do you have a budding performer in your family? How about a super creative student who might enjoy an artistic outlet? Even better, have a shy student just waiting to come out of his or her shell? CRT is proud to present January opportunities for grades K-8! Continuing CRT’s commitment to growth downtown, Saturday theatre classes will be held at 24 Port Watson St, Cortland!

WHAT A CHARACTER! Saturdays January 9, 16, and 23rd, 9a-10:30am for grades K-2nd.

Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will begin to explore the basics of musical theatre while playing pretend! Creating fun and strong characters, building friendships, learning about differences, and creating a show!

YOU’RE A TRANSFORMER! Saturdays January 9, 16, and 23rd, 11a-12:30p for grades 3-5th.

Children in 3rd through 5th grades will work on acting techniques to transform themselves into multiple characters through accents, stature, projection, and improvisation!

ONCE MORE WITH FEELING! Saturdays January 9, 16, and 23rd, 1p-2:30p for grades 6-8th.

Students in 6th through 8th grades learn to act through song! Offering special instruction in connecting with emotion in song performance with focus on facial expressions, body language, and performance energy!

And coming soon, April 25-29th! International technology and dance sensation iLuminate will be in residence with a week-long workshop for performers and technicians!
