October 25 – Tunes & Tales of the Civil War

Excelsior Cornet Band will perform Tunes & Tales of the Civil War at the United Presbyterian Church of Cortland (25 Church Street) on Sunday afternoon, October 25 at 3:00 PM.
These eight professional musicians– New York state’s authentic Civil War brass band—dress in reproductions of NY militia uniforms and perform on antique instruments restored from their original mid-19th century manufacture. Their historical program is a great way to close out this year’s commemoration of the Civil War Sesquicentennial.
Concert is free and open to the public.
