Legends of Fall Outfitters was opened by Jeff and Melissa Bordwell in 1996. Following high school, Jeff and Melissa’s oldest son, Dillon, completed an 18-month internship at Hart Rifle Barrels. Soon after, Dillon attended Pennsylvania Gunsmith School, graduating in 2013. Legends of Fall recently expanded the business to include a gun shop that is run by Dillon. Legends of Fall invested in a lathe, milling machine and various other pieces of equipment so that Dillon can do in-house gunsmithing. Dillon is able to offer services such as cleaning, refinishing stocks, re-bluing, re-barreling, and other gunsmithing needs. Legends of Fall buys and sells used and new guns. Legends of Fall is looking to expand its stock of gun cleaning products, ammo, scopes, and reloading supplies. Legends of Fall is constantly evolving to help serve its customers. Legends of Fall owners and staff feel that the gun shop is going to be an asset and complement to an established business that has served the community and surrounding areas for nearly two decades. At Legends of Fall, the Bordwell family believes in sustainable hunting practices and encourages their clients to do the same.
