2pm, Cortland Free Library, 32 Church Street in Cortland. The Children’s Home was operated by the King’s Daughters on Port Watson Street in Cortland, NY and closed in 1958. Helen De Haan, a resident there for five years, will present a program on the Memory Notebook she compiled for the second reunion of residents in July 2013. De Haan will explain the “hows and whys” she came to compile the notebook. Q & A to follow. Free program, but registration is required.
