The 2015 Ithaca Festival will kick off with the parade, Thursday May 28th, followed by programming downtown through Sunday, May 31.  The 2015 theme “Better Together” speaks to the vast diversity of people, cultures and perspectives that make our community complete. The combination of celebration and creative expression becomes a backdrop for approaching differences and building understanding among people.  Ithaca Festival is delighted to offer a wide range of opportunities for local professionals, amateurs and youth groups to present their work, celebrating the wide array of art and creative talent of Ithaca.  Admission: Ithaca Festival is a free festival for everyone to enjoy, with 1,000 local artists and 10,000 smiles. However, because we are a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization, we rely on donations and the purchase of merchandise and festival buttons to support our ability to host the event year after year. We hope that everyone who attends the Ithaca Festival feels that their experience is worth the price of a $5 commemorative button.  Accessibility: If you have a disability that will require special arrangements to fully participate in the Ithaca Festival, please call us at 607-273-3646 or email info@ithacafestival.org before the week of the festival. As these arrangements could take time to fulfill, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can give you the best possible festival experience. For more information during festival weekend, go to the main merchandise booth.  ithacafestival.org
