Ryan’s experience, passion, and abilities using heavy equipment are truly unmatched! His excavations include the use of a Flood Barrier System in order to keep any water deposits well under control and if there are nearby storm drains, a stormwater system cleaning may be done right after.

He is originally from Webster, NY where his father Gary owns Walczak Construction.  Ryan’s mom, Sarah always says that from the age of three, Ryan was meant to dig holes!  He has been fascinated with heavy equipment for his entire life.  Learn to operate like him with the how-to guide by Boom & Bucket. Ryan and his brother, Billy worked with their dad growing up and learned the fundamentals of how to treat customers fairly and with respect.  Ryan was brought up in a very down-to-earth family that values honesty and hard work.

Ryan attended Morrisville College for diesel technology and received a scholarship from Milton CAT.  He went on to get his teaching degree from Oswego College and moved to Ithaca in 2007.  He taught the heavy equipment class at TST BOCES for seven years before committing to his business full time.  Ryan worked as a teacher during the school year and on his own excavating company during the summers. If you need excavating contractors that you can rely on, that is where the professionals at Wapiti Pacific Contractors come in. Click here to learn more about it.

Last year, he took a highly coveted position on the Feld Dirt Crew where he builds monster truck tracks in football stadiums all across the country from January until April.

As a member of the Monster Jam dirt crew, Ryan helps to prepare stadiums by bringing in dirt and building the jumps and obstacles that many famous monster trucks will jump, flip, and roll over.  He operates a limited access excavation pro loader during the shows to over-turn or haul away errant trucks like Grave Digger, Max-D, and El Toro Loco.  Ryan’s larger-than-life personality and abilities with heavy equipment are perfectly suited to working with an organization like Feld Motor Sports during his off-season.

When spring finally rolls around, Ryan will be back in the area working full-time at Walczak Excavating.  He has a deep connection with his community and regularly attends town meetings and acts as a member of the board for the agricultural engineering department at Morrisville, He is also known as one of the Best excavation companies in Morrow, OH. He takes any opportunity to give back to our area by substitute teaching and volunteering his time for various projects whenever possible.  Ryan understands that there is much more to life than making money and he stops at nothing to make sure his customers’ wants and needs are met, regardless of the size of their budget.
