December 29 – Bonesaver Exercise Class Orientation

9:30am, Harford Senior Center. The Area Agency on Aging and RSVP program will be offering a new weight-bearing exercise class geared toward seniors at the Harford Senior Center starting in January. Two orientation classes will be offered on December 15 & 29 for people to come and learn more about the program. Starting January 5, the twice weekly class will be offered at the Harford Senior Center from 9:30-10:30 am each week on Mondays & Thursdays. The Bonesaver Exercise Program is an hour-long gentle routine that provides strength training done slowly with hand and ankle weights and will be led by trained RSVP volunteers. There are required forms to be completed before someone can participate on a regular basis, including a physician’s release. Registration is required for the class by calling the RSVP office at 753-5057. Please call with any questions or to register for the Harford class site.
