For the serious road racers, check out the latest carbon fiber frames, which are strong and lightweight. Take a look at touring bikes for a smooth and comfortable ride, like a century ride around the lake. There are entry-level road bikes as well, with great components and features to help you get started in road riding. Women-specific bikes, which are a better fit for most women as the top tube is shorter, are also a part of the inventory at Action Sports.

Or, come see the mountain bikes! Maybe you prefer to go off-road. There are trails at Bear Swamp and other areas where cyclists can whip themselves into shape and enjoy a woodland trail beneath a canopy of trees. No cars here! Hardtails, suspension in the fork only, are ideal for most trails around here. The 29ers, mountain bikes with 29 inch wheels, are getting more and more popular. And with disc brakes on many of the mountain bikes, you just might be able to stop on a dime. Owners Matt and Lisa Belknap will give you the attention you need to get you fitted for fitness and fun. They have been running the shop for over thirteen years and have built up a good customer base, which includes many repeat customers.
