Boris Garage owner Christian M. Seaman is excited to be entering the 2nd year of business in his location at 210 Elmira Road in Ithaca’s emerging strip district. Focusing on the buying, selling & trade of unique, quirky things which fall under the realm of “man-cave and craziness” his store has a lot to overwhelm the senses! An incredible assortment of items are represented from bar signs and neons to Military surplus and hunting gear. To create visually appealing window displays, Boris Garage works with a local Window Display Props Manufacturer to create floor to ceiling displays and evocative mannequins. A fast pace, great sound track, and high rotation of items encourage most customers to be daily regulars. With all the changes taking place to Downtown and the surrounding Ithaca area, Boris Garage is taking action as well. By striving to obtain more density and diversity of items the broadening of the genre and brand the store developed has evolved. By starting to work more with local businesses to create new opportunities, exciting ventures changes are happening. With the upcoming Finger lakes Reuse Center scheduled to open its doors soon right next to his location this summer an emerging partnership is forming that will help revitalize the entire area.
