Cars for Homes

Do you have an old car or truck you would like to get rid of while obtaining great tax credit and supporting Habitat for Humanity?Cars for Homes is one of Habitat for Humanity International’s programs, that is a win-win proposition!  An interested person can contact Cars for Homes directly at: www.habitat.org/carsforhomes to start the process on line, or request a Cars for Homes representative to help through the process.  The proceeds from the sale or scrap of the vehicle go directly to our affiliate.  This is a nice way to make a donation to Habitat, and get rid of an old clunker at the same time!

Holiday Cookie Walk

The 2nd Annual Holiday Cookie Walk will take place on December 7, 2013 from 10-2 PM at Center Ithaca on the Commons – during downtown Ithaca’s Winterfest.  Come see Santa and buy your holiday cookies too! Our goal this year is to have over 100 varieties of cookies!  Please email Pat Stefek for more info if you’d like to participate: pjstefek10@gmail.com

Ithaca Alternative Gift Fair, Saturday December 7, 11am – 6pm: At the First Baptist and First Presbyterian Churches, Dewitt Park in Ithaca, NY.  The Fair offers holiday shoppers an opportunity to choose gifts of charitable donations, rather than more “stuff”.
