10am, Lime Hollow Visitor Center, 338 McLean Road in Cortland. Shuffle through carpets of colorful leaves while learning a bit of the remarkable history of Lime Hollow with our Senior Naturalist, Peter Harrity. We’ll investigate 19th century sawmill sites off the Lehigh Valley Trail. We’ll trek to where a hermit hid his dwelling, and share other historical tales. Of course bring your binoculars, field guides and a water bottle. There are some binoculars available to borrow. Hikes typically last an hour and a half. Admission free; donations appreciated.
