WNYOA Hare Scramble – Sunday, August 25th

The Western New York Off-Road Association (WNYOA) is holding an off-road Hare Scramble race at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. The race is for dirt bike and ATV riders that complete multiple laps around a marked course through the rugged terrain at Greek Peak.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort will host the hare scramble cross country motorcycle and ATV race on Sunday, August 25th. This race is round #12 of the WNYOA hare scramble championship series. This series has riders from ages 4 to 75 and the riders come from all over New York and Pennsylvania. All skills from beginner to professional. The track is 9 miles long for adult riders, 4.5 for youth and for the pee wee riders its 1.5 miles long. Some of the top riders in the country including 2011 AMA Racing East Hare Scrambles national dirtbike rider champion, Kevin Kilmer will be racing. Kevin finished 1st in the 201-250cc A class in 2011. Kevin has been racing as a Double A rider since 2012. Plus Hunter Hart of Newfield, NY #1 youth ATV Cross Country rider in the country will be racing the mountain course!

The gate fee is only $10 a person which covers you for the whole weekend. Gates open at 8am on Saturday, August 24th which gives everyone a chance to explore the outdoor adventure center at Greek Peak and the waterpark at Hope Lake Lodge!
