Homestead Antique Fair

Homestead Antique Fair

On August 3 and 4 we will be having the first annual Homestead Antique Fair on the lovely grounds of the Southworth Homestead in the village of Dryden. Antique vendors will be offering a great selection of antiques for sale. Every area of interest from military goods, antique tools and cookie jars will be available. In addition, there will be several exhibits of private collections. We hope the event will provide a great opportunity for antique collectors and history buffs alike. There will be a $4 admission fee for adults (over 16) which will cover both days plus there will also be “hard hat tours” of the Homestead which is currently being restored. Hours will be Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM.

This event should become an important community event, and also help raise funds for the preservation and use of the Southworth Homestead. This home built in 1836 by one of Dryden’s early entrepreneurs, John Southworth. The Homestead will be an important community resource and a site for other activities such the Harvest Festival in October. Have fun, learn and support our our important local landmark.
