Brainfreeze Madness Ice Cream Shoppe & Hot Dog Shack

Its summertime and the kids are out of school! Bring them to Brainfreeze Madness for everyone’s favorite treat – ice cream! Located at 123 S. Main Street in Homer (next to Little Italy), Brainfreeze Madness opened in May of 2012 and the community seems very happy to see the building renovated into something wonderful, and have had great comments on their products! This year Brainfreeze added the “Hot Dog Shack” adjacent to the Brainfreeze Ice Cream Shoppe building and a covered pavilion behind the ice cream shoppe. The ice cream shoppe offers a convenient Drive-Thru window for all of the on-the-go-people, as well as outdoor seating in their pavilion and plenty of parking. Brainfreeze Ice Cream Shoppe is open seven days a week from 11AM to 10PM and the Hot Dog Shack is open from 11 AM to 7 PM seven days a week.

New this year are many new items including low fat Greek yogurt, dole whip and Brainfreeze now offers “Ice Cream Cakes” upon request! Try a new “Very Berry Twist”! A refreshing black raspberry and strawberry twist! YUM! Plus they offer Turkey Hill soft serve ice cream, as well as Gifford’s Premium Hard ice cream in 54 flavors! They also carry gluten free cones and a variety of no sugar added hard ice creams, which many people have been grateful for. The ice cream shoppe is walking distance from the village, and the only place where you can hop off Interstate 81, get some ice cream and get back on very quickly.
