Deborah Orecki, Director of the Bureau of Funeral Directing, New York State Department of Health, will deliver a public talk on Sunday, April 14 at 2:00, in the Auditorium at Kendal at Ithaca (2230 N. Triphammer Rd.). The title of her talk is “Regulation of the Death-Care Industry in New York State: A View from Albany.” Sponsored by the Funeral Consumers Alliance of the Finger Lakes (formerly the Ithaca Memorial Society), one of nearly 90 affiliates of the national Funeral Consumers Alliance.
