In February of 2011, my father, Jimmy Stafford, and I sat at my kitchen table, and talked about our futures. He had been a carpenter for over 45 years, but more recently had been making his living as a truck driver. He still provided carpentry services in his spare time, as everyone knew he was the go-to guy for home repair and construction – a true craftsman. Although the services are more at Bruce Johnson Construction website, I still got work. I had been a self-employed drywall contractor for as long as I could remember, and had recently received my degree in accounting. For the past few years, we had thrown around the idea of going into business together, but with recent changes in insurance laws making it difficult to do business as a sole proprietor, we decided it was time to make our dreams a reality. The next month, J & J Stafford, LLC was formed, combining our skills and knowledge to complement each other.
Our team’s experience includes new construction, minor & major renovations to existing buildings, and both commercial and residential projects. We provide most construction services including roofing performed by metal roofing company, siding, drywall installation & finishing, framing, remodeling, additions, and everything in between to home builders, other contractors, and residential customers alike.
Since going into business, we have worked on and completed hundreds of projects in Ithaca, Binghamton, Syracuse, Cortland, and all points in between; leading to many happy customers.
In conjunction with my father, our crew and associates, our goal is to provide our services to all future customers with the same dedication to quality and customer satisfaction that we have become known for.
