When I first started drinking herbal teas, I found that most of them are very hard to drink due to their bitter properties or their nasty tasting nature. But if you want to start with one of the easiest and nice tasting herbal teas, then start with red raspberry. This makes a nice sun tea as well.

POWERS: Protection and love.
MEDICINAL PARTS: Leaves and roots.
CONSTITUTES: Very high in iron, manganese, niacin and high in calcium, magnesium, selenium, Vitamin A and C. Contains tannins and flavonoids.
PROPERTIES: Astringent, tonic, antiemetic.
MAGICAL USES: The brambles are hung in doors and windows for protection. This is also used for a death so the spirit does not reenter the home. The leaves are carried by pregnant women for pain and nausea. The fruit is considered a love food.
INTERNAL USES: Strengthens the first charka and reproductive system. Helps support the body during pregnancy, stops diarrhea, helps bring down blood sugar levels, respiratory tract problems, gastrointestinal tract weakness and builds the cardiovascular system.
